Workshop Mentor
You are a scientist (e.g., PhD student, postdoctoral fellow, professor, research scientist, etc) who is eager to share your journey into STEM. The time commitment varies based on workshop type, ensuring flexibility for busy schedules. Become a catalyst for inspiration, actively participating in sharping the next generation of scientists.
Publicity Coordinator
You are a creative mind with a flair for design, storytelling, and/or social media. Spread the word about Reroot STEM by crafting visually appealing media (e.g., flyers) to recruit mentors and students, leveraging your talent in storytelling for our newsletter, and/or creatively promoting our mission and activities on social media. Tap into your creativity to build awareness and engagement with the wider community.
Outreach Coordinator
You have a knack for connecting with mentors, speakers, teachers and/or students to participate in our organization’s workshops. Cultivate relationships that enhance our organization’s reach and impact. If you thrive in building connections and fostering collaboration, this role allows you to be a key player in expanding our network and creating meaningful partnerships.
Financial Coordinator
You are skilled in fundraising and securing support for impactful initiatives. Your responsibilities include recruiting donors and sponsors and/or applying for community grants to fund our organization’s workshops and events. Your financial acumen will directly contribute to the success and growth of our mission to make STEM accessible to all.
Education Coordinator
You are passionate about high quality educational materials that enhance the learning experience. Leverage your creativity to develop engaging digital resources to guide our students and mentors during workshops/events. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our educational content is informative, accessible, and aligned with our mission of fostering a love for STEM.
